i hate math. it gets stupid boring and complicated as you get older. person who decided moar stuff added to math would be awesome..stop doing it.

I got A's in my math classes. I even took AP courses. Math is great with the right teacher and such. But for some careers you have no where to really apply geometry or algebra daily. I know most art students try to avoid it as much as possible and just guesstimate frequently.

I agree and disagree. Ultimately I'm in the dislike learning complex math but back in high school, when I had an excellent teacher, I actually liked Algebra/Calculus/Trigonometry. In that same time frame I had a terrible Geometry teacher and to this day cannot do that crap.

I still like Statistics a whole hell of a lot, but I've always been very hands-on in the maths and sciences. It's why Physics has always been my favorite science. Because we always were able to do those cool experiments with levers and pulleys and potato-launchers and concave/convex mirrors and a candle.

I personally love math, but I can totally understand that last panel. My calc teacher butchers about a third of the words he says.

Hands on time is awesome. But, most of the time you just get assignments in the book. Even in my high science classes you'd get maybe three hands-on experiences tops in comparison to homework/class notes.
